We are trying to sell our home located at 358 S. Wayne St. in Danville, Indiana. We are selling by owner to try to save as much as possible but will be listing with a realtor soon. The price is $124,900.
The house is a 1926 bungalow. It is one story with a partially finished basement. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths, living room, dining room & kitchen. There are 3 mostly finished rooms in the basement. These rooms have drywall, trim, heating and air, and painted concrete floors. Throw a rug down there and it will feel like home. 2 of the 3 basement rooms have nice windows that let in a great deal of natural light. We used the first little room as a playroom. From there you enter the largest of the 3 rooms. It has a closet with wire organizer and a built-in entertainment cabinet. The 3rd room is the size of a bedroom, however, it does not have a closet.
All of the windows on the main floor are double hung vinyl windows. They are the kind that open in so you don’t have to go outside to clean them. I loved that feature.
Although the yard is small (.18 acres), it is fenced and has a playground. The patio door in the dining room opens into the fenced yard. It’s a perfect spot for a dog or small children. I know it saved my life during the toddler/preschool years. Not to mention that it only takes 30 minutes to mow!
Men, listen up. There is a 2 1/2 car detached garage (maybe bigger) with electric. It also has a utility sink with cold water. The workshop section is great and will hold all of your tools. The attic is also large and already has plywood down so it will hold lots of stuff.
If you would like to see the home, send an email to me and I’ll get right back to you or call 317-828-6104. Seriously. We really want to sell this home. Check out the additional pages (pictures, nitty gritty & update timeline) on here for more information. Questions? email me.
Your stuff would look so cute in our house!
